Serving Nicholasville and Jessamine County
Screened porches that give Nicholasville homeowners an outdoor room without the bugs.
Nicholasville, Kentucky
Kentucky summers are humid and full of insects, which is why a screened porch gets more use here than an open deck. We build screened porches in Nicholasville on solid foundations, tied into the roofline so they look like part of the original house.
In newer Nicholasville neighborhoods, a screened porch is one of the most requested upgrades, often replacing a small builder deck.
On older Nicholasville homes, we match the porch to existing brick, trim and roof pitch so it suits the age of the house.
What’s included
Brick or masonry bases and solid floor framing.
Gable and shed roofs matched to the house.
Durable screening with clean trim details.
Finished wood ceilings with fans and lights.
Decking, tile or concrete.
Screens and a roof added to an existing deck where the structure allows.
Jessamine County
Nicholasville sits just south of Lexington on US-27, a short drive from our office. Jessamine County has grown quickly, so we see both newer subdivision homes and older houses near downtown.
Blue Oak Construction is the residential division of DB General Contracting. A project manager stays on your job from the first meeting to the final walkthrough.
