Serving Paris and Bourbon County
Cabinetry, countertops, lighting and layout changes for Paris kitchens, planned and built by Blue Oak Construction.
Paris, Kentucky
In older Paris homes, kitchens tend to be closed off and short on storage. Opening a wall and adding cabinetry planned for the space usually changes the whole first floor.
The kitchen takes more daily use than any room in the house, and it shows its age first. We remodel kitchens in Paris from simple refreshes of counters, backsplash and lighting to full redesigns that move walls, add an island and rework how the room connects to the rest of the home.
On farms and larger properties around Paris, kitchens often double as the main gathering room, so we plan for bigger islands, mudroom connections and durable finishes.
What’s included
Custom and semi-custom cabinets, pantries and built-ins sized to the room.
Stone and solid-surface counters, templated and installed.
Added prep space, seating and storage.
Walls opened, appliances relocated, traffic flow fixed.
Pendants, recessed and under-cabinet lighting.
Backsplashes and floors that tie the room together.

Common questions
It depends on scope. Refreshing surfaces is quicker than relocating walls, plumbing or electrical, and cabinets and counters have their own lead times. We give you a schedule during planning.
Usually. We check whether the wall is load-bearing and what runs through it, then explain what opening it involves.
Yes. Blue Oak Construction serves Paris and the rest of Bourbon County from our office at 851 Corporate Dr in Lexington.
Most homeowners stay. We talk through how to set up a temporary kitchen space while the work is underway.
