Serving Frankfort and Franklin County
Bright sunroom additions that connect your Frankfort home to the yard in every season.
Frankfort, Kentucky
A sunroom is a true addition: foundation, framing, roof, insulation and windows, heated and cooled like the rest of the house. We build sunrooms in Frankfort that feel like a natural extension of the home, not a kit attached to the back.
On older Frankfort homes, we size windows and trim to match the originals so the sunroom reads as period-appropriate.
In newer Frankfort homes, a sunroom often replaces a deck that never got used, turning it into year-round living space.

Franklin County
Frankfort, the state capital, is northwest of Lexington on I-64. Its neighborhoods follow the Kentucky River and the hills around it, which means many sloped lots and a mix of historic and mid-century homes.
Blue Oak Construction is the residential division of DB General Contracting. A project manager stays on your job from the first meeting to the final walkthrough.
Common questions
A sunroom is enclosed, insulated and usable all year. A screened porch is open-air and costs less. We can price both.
Rarely as is. A sunroom needs a proper foundation, so we usually rebuild the base.
A four-season sunroom is insulated and heated like any other room.
Yes. Blue Oak Construction serves Frankfort and the rest of Franklin County from our office at 851 Corporate Dr in Lexington.
