Serving Frankfort and Franklin County
An extra bedroom, family room or office added to your Frankfort home.
Frankfort, Kentucky
Older Frankfort homes tend to have fewer and smaller rooms. A well-placed addition at the back keeps the street view unchanged.
One more room often solves the problem: a bedroom for a growing family, a home office, a larger family room. We build single-room additions in Frankfort with foundations, framing and finishes that match the existing house.
In Frankfort subdivisions, we design within setback limits and match siding, brick and roofing already on the house.
What’s included
Additional bedrooms with closets.
Larger gathering space off the kitchen.
Quiet rooms with the wiring you need.
Finished space over a garage.
Practical space where you enter the house.
Bedroom and bath on the main level.
Franklin County
Blue Oak Construction is the residential division of DB General Contracting. A project manager stays on your job from the first meeting to the final walkthrough.
Frankfort, the state capital, is northwest of Lexington on I-64. Its neighborhoods follow the Kentucky River and the hills around it, which means many sloped lots and a mix of historic and mid-century homes.
Common questions
Yes. Blue Oak Construction serves Frankfort and the rest of Franklin County from our office at 851 Corporate Dr in Lexington.
That depends on the lot, setbacks and how it ties into the house. We check the limits early.
We evaluate the existing system and extend it or add a dedicated unit.
Most work happens outside the existing house until the opening is cut through.
