Serving Midway and Woodford County
Cabinetry, countertops, lighting and layout changes for Midway kitchens, planned and built by Blue Oak Construction.
Midway, Kentucky
In older Midway homes, kitchens tend to be closed off and short on storage. Opening a wall and adding cabinetry planned for the space usually changes the whole first floor.
The kitchen takes more daily use than any room in the house, and it shows its age first. We remodel kitchens in Midway from simple refreshes of counters, backsplash and lighting to full redesigns that move walls, add an island and rework how the room connects to the rest of the home.
On farms and larger properties around Midway, kitchens often double as the main gathering room, so we plan for bigger islands, mudroom connections and durable finishes.
What’s included
Custom and semi-custom cabinets, pantries and built-ins sized to the room.
Stone and solid-surface counters, templated and installed.

Common questions
Yes. Blue Oak Construction serves Midway and the rest of Woodford County from our office at 851 Corporate Dr in Lexington.
It depends on scope. Refreshing surfaces is quicker than relocating walls, plumbing or electrical, and cabinets and counters have their own lead times. We give you a schedule during planning.
Usually. We check whether the wall is load-bearing and what runs through it, then explain what opening it involves.
Most homeowners stay. We talk through how to set up a temporary kitchen space while the work is underway.
